SEA SPONGES – a simple, organic material, a true treasure for washing and massaging the body on a daily basis. Easy to buy at local markets (prices vary depending on size and quality, from €5 to €30), but they can also be easily found on beaches in autumn, winter, and spring. In summer, the sea is not as generous and does not wash them ashore from the depths. Once collected on the shoreline, they must of course be thoroughly cleaned before use. I have been using them for over 30 years – fantastic!
